Petwrk started in Mundelein, Illinois, when CEO and co-founder Anna LaRocco Masi struggled to connect with other husky owners during the pandemic. What began as a personal challenge soon grew into a much bigger vision and mission: to create a space where pet owners and animal lovers could easily connect, share advice, form real-life friendships, and build a community.
Currently in its beta phase, the website already has a forum for pet questions, tips, and discussions, making it easy to interact with other pet owners near you.
Think of it as Reddit for pet owners, with discussions on everything from training tips to health advice. And soon, with its pet matching feature, it’ll be like Tinder for pets, helping you and your pet find new friendships and playmates.

Our first major event this year was the All Animal Expo. It showed us just how large, welcoming, and diverse a pet network could be offline. This is where we first introduced Petwrk to the public and started gaining increased interest from potential users.
